We network manufacturers and food retailers and wholesalers in the category management. Your contribution to success:
- Coordinating and planning the optimal order quantities and times in coordination with Sales
- Ensuring the availability of goods
- Internal interface and link between Sales, Assortment & Dispo/Warehouse and externally to suppliers
- Quantity and price enquiries with suppliers (directly or via our group-internal international sourcing)
- Preparation of contract conclusions
- Operational purchasing activities such as request for quotation, assortment processing, new listings, maintenance of article data including documentation
- Organisation of samples
- Ongoing market observation and evaluation of market trends in the assortment area (assortment and new products) including documentation
- Preparation and execution of negotiations with existing suppliers
- Complaint management
- Invoice control
These skills are what set you apart:
- Completed commercial training (apprenticeship, technical college, HLW, HAK or similar)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in purchasing and scheduling required
- IT knowledge and proficient handling of office software (MS Office) and experience with an ERP system or merchandise management systems would be an advantage
- Very good negotiating skills in German and English
- Driving licence B
- Market and product know-how in the food sector an advantage
- communicative personality, organisational skills and structured way of working
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work under pressure and strong negotiating skills

However, our salary level is based on current market salaries and therefore a monthly gross salary on a full-time basis of at least € 2,600 gross with 5 years' previous service is envisaged for this position.
