Delegation from the Philippines visits binca manufaktur

The binca group had the honour of welcoming a high-ranking delegation from the Philippines to binca manufaktur in Perschling, St. Pölten, on 8 May 2025. The guests included Her Excellency Evangelina Lourdes A. Bernas, Ambassador of the Philippines to Austria, as well as representatives of WWF Philippines, WWF Austria and our long-standing partner Quatrade.

The delegation was welcomed by our CEO Oliver Fritsch and COO Wolfgang Schuh, who gave them a personal tour of the production facility. The focus was on our long-standing partnership with the Philippines - in particular one of our most sustainable products, MSC-certified yellowfin tuna, which we supply to Austrian retailers.

For many years, the binca group has maintained a trusting relationship with responsible fishing companies in the Philippines, including our valued partner Seatrace International. Together with the WWF, the group is committed to fair and transparent supply chains.

Many thanks to Her Excellency and the entire delegation for the inspiring exchange. We look forward to continuing successful projects along the supply chain.
