Kick-off: ESG Roadmap for Sustainable Food Production

On 17 September 2025, the starting signal was given at the St. Pölten Business Centre for the cooperative qualification project "ESG Roadmap for Sustainable Food Production". The project is supported by the Food Cluster of Lower Austria, part of ecoplus.

By voluntarily aligning with the VSME Standard (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs), the binca group is taking an important step forward. The aim is to record, improve and present its sustainability performance even more systematically in the future. Those who establish sustainable structures today secure opportunities for tomorrow – fully in line with the group’s strategic orientation.

At the kick-off workshop with Ankerbrot and Berger Schinken, facilitated by the agency Ritt, the focus was on collaboration. Thanks to the cluster organisation, a valuable framework is created in which participants can learn from one another, share experiences and jointly develop practical solutions.
