Transparency along the supply chain: visit to a salmon farm on Hitra, Norway

The relevance of transparent supply chains and sustainable aquaculture was at the centre of a company trip to the Norwegian island of Hitra. Together with a long-standing partner, the binca group organised a visit to a modern salmon farm, during which the participants gained impressive insights into the processes of responsible salmon farming.

Against the impressive backdrop of the Norwegian archipelago, the participants learnt first-hand about innovative processes in aquaculture. The trip was accompanied by CEO Oliver Fritsch and CEO Axel Verberckmoes, who used the personal exchange with partners to visualise the transparency practised along the supply chain.
