The brand new binca manufaktur in Perschling - just outside the gates of St. Pölten, the capital of Lower Austria - is Austria's largest and most modern fresh fish processing and refinement factory.
We are part of the binca group, a strong group of companies that specialises in fish and seafood and operates its own production facilities in Belgium and Austria. YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR SUCCESS:

  • responsible for needs assessment, procurement planning and goods procurement/purchasing of raw goods and materials for fresh fish processing to ensure optimal goods/materials supply and availability.
  • operational purchasing activities from request for quotation to order processing and complaints management
  • main contact for existing suppliers
  • management of the IFCO portal
  • transport coordination and handling of procurement deliveries and deliveries to our customers and warehouses
  • warehouse management and inventory management together with our production planning and warehouse management
  • close coordination with other departments within the procurement and supply chain process
  • optimisation of purchasing and logistics processes

THESE ARE THE SKILLS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • completed commercial training (apprenticeship, HASCH, HAK, HBLA or FH/Uni)
  • at least 5 years of professional experience in purchasing, logistics and/or forwarding
  • knowledge in the food sector - preferably fish & seafood - would be an advantage
  • experience in an ERP system (enterprise resource planning)
  • MS-Office skills
  • excellent knowledge of German and English at least B2 level
  • market and product know-how advantageous
  • ability to work in a team, social competence and communicative personality
  • strong negotiating skills
  • ability to work under pressure

For legal reasons, we are obliged to point out that the minimum salary for this position is EUR 2,553.51 gross per month with at least 5 years of previous service.
However, our salary level is based on current market salaries and therefore a monthly gross salary on a full-time basis of up to € 3,000 with at least 5 years' previous service is envisaged for this position.
